Terms and Conditions

Last revised: November 2026. Please read these terms carefully before listing or voting for servers on L2Ranks.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, listing a Lineage 2 server, or submitting votes on L2Ranks ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Server Listing Policy & Account Quotas

L2Ranks provides an open discovery directory and launch calendar for Lineage 2 private server administrators. The following quotas and listing standards apply:

Free Listing Quota: Standard registered server owner accounts are permitted up to two (2) concurrent active or pending server listings at no charge, with full access to 12-hour voting rewards, analytics, and embeddable widgets.

Additional Realms: Server owners wishing to list more than two concurrent realms may do so by subscribing to an additional server slot ($5/month per realm) or through sponsored promotional placements.

Anti-Abuse & Multi-Account Restriction: Circumventing account quotas by registering multiple accounts or submitting duplicate domain variations for the same realm is strictly prohibited. Accounts engaging in quota circumvention are subject to immediate suspension and listing removal.

All submissions are placed in a moderation queue and reviewed for authentic metadata, valid launch dates, chronicle taxonomy, and functional website links prior to public publication.

3. Anti-Cheat Voting System & Integrity

L2Ranks enforces a continuous 30-day organic ranking system to reward high-quality communities. The voting engine enforces:

A strict 12-hour cooldown per unique player fingerprint and IP address across each realm.
Automated proxy, VPN, and headless browser botting detection. Votes detected as automated or fraudulent are discarded.
Cryptographically signed in-game reward webhooks (HMAC-SHA256) delivering verified tokens directly to game servers.

4. Domain Ownership & Verification

Realms cataloged through automated indexing or community suggestions may be claimed by the legitimate administrator. Claimants must prove domain control via HTML meta tag injection or DNS TXT token verification. Once verified, administration rights to the listing are transferred exclusively to the verified owner.

Lineage 2 is a registered trademark of NCSOFT Corporation. L2Ranks is an independent directory and ranking platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCSOFT Corporation. All server trademarks, names, and logos belong to their respective project creators.
